Ingredients
  

  • 2 Slices whole-grain or sourdough bread (sub gluten-free if needed)
  • 1/2 cup Whole milk ricotta cheese (can substitute part-skim or dairy-free ricotta)
  • 3-4 Fresh figs, sliced (use dried figs soaked briefly if fresh unavailable)
  • 1 tsp Honey or date syrup (optional for added sweetness)
  • A pinch of flaky sea salt

Method
 

  1. Toast your bread slices until golden and slightly crisp.
  2. Spread an even layer of ricotta cheese over each toast slice.
  3. Arrange the sliced figs on top of the ricotta.
  4. Drizzle with honey or date syrup, if using, for natural sweetness.
  5. Sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt to enhance flavor contrast.
